Have you experienced problems receiving our SignBoard
e-news? If so, it may have been mistakenly filtered out of your
inbox. Please note that you may have to complete the following
steps for email sent from NZSDA and SignBoard in order to ensure
that you will receive our future email communications.

AOL (for version
9.0)
- Click the Mail menu and select Address
Book.
- Wait for the Address Book window to pop
up, then click the Add button.
- Wait for the Address Card for New Contact
window to load.
- Once loaded, cut and paste "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com"
into the "Other E-Mail" field.
- Make our From address the Primary E-Mail
address by checking the associated check box.
- Click the Save button.
- For existing subscribers that are seeing messages in the
spam folder, open the newsletter and click the This
Is Not Spam button.
- Add "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com" onto your Address
Book as outlined in the New Subscribers
information above.

BlackBerrys
- Scroll up to the message header.
- Get to the field where their name is listed, click the Berry
button and then click Show Address.
- Select and copy that address to the clipboard.
- Go into Address Book and find the user.
- Select Save.
- Click to edit it, and then click the Berry
button to add another email address.
- Paste it in and click Save.

Gmail
- Click on Contacts in the left column.
- Click on Add Contact on the upper right-hand-side
of the Contacts screen.
- Enter "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com" in the Primary
Email field.
- Click on Save.

Hotmail
- Click on the Contacts tab at the top of your account.
- In the left hand menu, click on Safe List.
- Enter "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com" into the
blank field.
- Click the Add button to the right of the field.

MacMail
- Open the email.
- Click on the sender's email address and
select "open in address book."
- Verify the sender's contact details.

MSN
- Select Settings: Email | Junk e-mail (bottom
left, just above Calendar).
- From the E-mail settings screen, select Junk E-mail
Guard.
- Select Safe List.
- Enter the email address.
- You can either enter "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com"
or use *xxxxx.co.nz to whitelist the domain (replace the xxxxx
with the domain name).
- Select Add.

For Outlook 2000 and Higher
- Open the email.
- Click on the Actions menu on the top of
your email window.
- Choose Junk Email.
- Select Add Senders Domain and save
"[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com" to your safe sender
list.
Or
- Open the email.
- Right-click the sender’s email address.
- Click "add to contacts" in the
short-cut menu.
- Click "save and close."

Outlook Express (6+)
- Open the email.
- Left-click the sender icon, or right-click the sender’s
name.
- Click "add to contacts."
- Click "save and close."

Mozilla Thunderbird
- Click the Address Book button.
- Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted.
- Click the New Card button. This will launch
a New Card window that has 3 tabs: Contact,
Address and Other.
- Under the Contact tab, copy and paste the
"From" address, "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com"
into the email dialogue box.
- Click OK.

Windows Live Mail
- Open the email
- Click on the Mark as Safe link

Yahoo!
- Click on the Addresses tab in the upper-left
part of your account screen.
- Click on Add contact just under the Addresses
tab.
- Enter "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].com" in the email
field – the rest can be left blank, if desired.
- Click on Save at the bottom of the page.
You should see a confirmation screen.
- Click Done in the upper left.

MailShield
- Click Friends on the toolbar.
- Click Add.
- Enter "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].co.nz".
- Click OK.

Mail Washer
- Click Tools, then Blacklist &
Friends
- Click Add (on the right, the Friends List
side)
- Make sure Plain Email Address is selected
- Type "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].co.nz"
- Click OK.

McAfee SpamKiller
- Click Friends.
- Click Add.
- Enter "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].co.nz" .
- Click OK.

Norton AntiSpam
- Start Norton AntiSpam, select Status
& Settings tab.
- Select AntiSpam.
- Select Configure button - right hand side
bottom of the screen.
- Select Allowed List tab - second tab on
the list of tabs.
- Select Add.
- Enter email address in the Email address box.
- Select OK.

Spam Assassin
- Find the Spam Assassin folder on your hard
drive, and open it.
- There would be a file named user_prefs.
Open it with a text editor (such as Notepad).
- If there is no such file, create it, instructions are available
here.
- Make a new line in the file. On that line, enter whitelist_from,
followed by the address that you wish to whitelist. To whitelist
the domain, enter @xxxxxx.com (replace the xxxxx with the domain
name).
- Save and close the file

Spam Butcher
- Click the Configure button.
- Go to the Known Senders tab.
- Click Add under Known Good Senders
and Recipients.
- Type "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].co.nz" .
- Click OK.

Spam Inspector
- Select Spam Inspector, then Manage
Friends List from either Spam Inspector toolbar or
from Outlook menu.
- Make sure that E-mail is selected under Add
a New Friend.
- Type "[newsletter]@[YourCompany].co.nz" .
- Click the >> button.
- Click Close.
